What do I need to connect to my Mac or PC?
Enable Screen Sharing (macOS: System Settings → General → Sharing → Screen Sharing) or install a VNC server on your PC. Then add a connection in Reachbeam with your computer's IP address. On the same network, that's all you need.
Can I connect from outside my home network?
Remote internet access is coming in a future update. Currently Reachbeam works on your local network (LAN/Wi-Fi). Stay tuned — upgrade notifications go out through the App Store.
How do I restore my Pro subscription?
Open the app → tap the overflow menu (⋮) → Restore purchases. Alternatively, reinstalling the app and logging in with the same App Store or Google Play account will automatically restore an active subscription.
My connection is slow. What can I do?
Try lowering the color depth in the connection settings. On macOS, disable wallpaper and transparency in Display settings. For best performance, use a 5 GHz Wi-Fi network.
I can't type certain keys on the remote computer.
Use the extended keyboard panel — swipe up on the keyboard bar to reveal function keys, modifiers, and special keys. Make sure the connection's keyboard layout matches your remote computer's language setting.
How do I use SSH?
Add a new connection, switch the protocol selector to SSH, enter your host, port (22 by default), username, and either a password or an SSH private key. Keys can be imported from Files or generated in-app.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Reachbeam collects no personal data. Credentials are stored in the system keychain (Apple Keychain / Android Keystore). Remote sessions travel directly between your device and your computer — we are never in that path. See our Privacy Policy for the full story.
How do I cancel my Pro subscription?
On iPhone/iPad: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Reachbeam Pro → Cancel. On Android: Google Play → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future charges; your Pro access continues until the end of the paid period.
