How do I open the gesture pad?
Enable the service using the toggle at the top of the app. Then use whichever trigger you configured — tap the floating icon, swipe from an edge, tap the nav bar, or use a motion gesture. You can switch or combine triggers in Settings.
Why does Sense Pad need Accessibility permission?
System-level actions like Go Home, Go Back, Take Screenshot, Expand Notifications, and Lock Device require Android's Accessibility Service to work. The service is used exclusively to perform the actions you assign — no screen content is read or transmitted.
The pad doesn't appear over some apps.
A few apps block overlays for security reasons (banking apps, some launchers). This is an Android restriction we cannot bypass. For all other apps, make sure "Draw over other apps" permission is granted to Sense Pad in Android Settings → Apps → Sense Pad → Permissions.
How do I use NFC Tag Actions?
NFC Tag Actions require Sense Pad Pro. After upgrading, go to the NFC tab, tap + to add a tag, then scan any NFC tag with your phone. Assign one or more actions to it. From then on, tapping that tag anywhere will fire those actions instantly.
Motion Sense isn't detecting my gestures.
Go to Settings → Motion Sense and adjust the sensitivity. Some devices have less responsive sensors — try increasing sensitivity one step at a time. Make sure the service is enabled and the app has battery optimisation disabled for best results.
How do I restore my Pro purchase?
Open the app → tap the menu → Restore purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same Google account used for the original purchase. Reinstalling the app with the same account will also restore Pro automatically.
The pad stops working after a reboot.
Enable "Start on boot" in Settings. Also, disable battery optimisation for Sense Pad: Android Settings → Apps → Sense Pad → Battery → Unrestricted. Some manufacturers (Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei) have aggressive battery killers that prevent background services from starting.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Sense Pad collects no personal data. All gesture settings stay on your device. We are not in the path of anything you do with your phone. See our Privacy Policy for the full story.
